Acts as a photostabilizer and multifunctional emollient. Is an excellent solvent for oil soluble, solid UV-filters and confers photostability to the UVA-filter Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane. Improves the SPF of suncare formulations and adds gloss to finished formulations. It is compatible with most commonly used cosmetic ingredients. Possesses excellent safety profile.
