Blend of D-Glucono-1,5-Lactone (74.25%) (and) Sodium benzoate (24.75%) (and) Calcium gluconate (1.0%). TRU-GUARD ULTRA by Lonza is a preservative blend designed to offer broad spectrum protection. Gluconolactone is derived from corn via fermentation process and not derived from genetically-modified crops. The microorganisms used in the fermentation process are not genetically modified. It is accepted by ECOCERT as a preservative in certified organic cosmetics. It is compatible with a wide variety of formulation ingredients as well as most types of cationic, non-ionic and anionic systems. It is used in shampoos, conditioners, rinses, skin care products like liquid soaps, shower gels, sensitive skin lotions, moisturizers and cold creams. TRU-GUARD ULTRA is also recommended for sunscreens lotions, creams, surfactants, shampoo blends and conditioner blends.
