Blend of D-Glucono-1,5-Lactone (74.25%) (and) Sodium benzoate (24.75%) (and) Calcium gluconate (1.0%). Geogard Ultra by Lonza is a preservative blend designed to offer broad spectrum protection. Gluconolactone is derived from corn via fermentation process and not derived from genetically-modified crops. The microorganisms used in the fermentation process are not genetically modified. It is accepted by ECOCERT as a preservative in certified organic cosmetics. It is compatible with a wide variety of formulation ingredients as well as most types of cationic, non-ionic and anionic systems. It is used in shampoos, conditioners, rinses, skin care products like liquid soaps, shower gels, sensitive skin lotions, moisturizers and cold creams. Geogard Ultra is also recommended for sunscreens lotions, creams, surfactants, shampoo blends and conditioner blends.
