Homosalate, an effective UVB absorber. It has the following features: It absorbs the UV rays, specifically UVB rays, that are known to cause sunburn and contribute to sun damage. It is an effective solubilizer for crystalline UV absorbers. It also acts as an anti-aging compound for the skin, maintaining its health and keeping it youthful. SpecAUV® HMS is recommended for use as an ingredient in UV absorbers, UV filters, and fragrances in personal care products.
