Associative, alkali-swellable thickener. Shows exceptional long-term viscosity stability at pH >12. Stable in hydrogen peroxide and generates increased thickening efficiencies when used with hydrophobic surfactants. Used in depilatories, hair relaxers, specialty gels and two-component aqueous hair dyes.
