TromethamineĀ acts as a buffering agent and solubilizer. Possesses primary amine functionality and neutralizing properties. It is a white crystalline powder, soluble in water and alcohol. Used in skin treatment gels, sun blocks & sunscreen lotions, spray-on lotions, personal care products and other cosmetic formulations. Complies with European Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EEC and CFTA.
