XIAMETER MEM-0949 EMULSION (SILICONE 949)

Emollient and conditioning ingredient, offering excellent tactile properties and softening effects in hair care and skincare formula. It is easy to formulate into hair treatment products. Silicone 949 is dilutable in water.

Silicone 949 acts as a conditioning agent. It is a 35% cationic emulsion of an amine-functional silicone polymer. The amodimethicone active is delivered in an opaque, low viscosity liquid with a neutral pH. It contains a non-tallow derived quaternary-amine surfactant and does not contain alkylphenol ethoxylate (APE) emulsifiers. It provides easy formulation and good dilution stability. Moreover, it reduces combing time on wet hair and does not provide heavy effect on dried hair. Finds application in formulating 2-in-i shampoos, conditioners, styling aids, hair colorants, perms and leave-on products.
